1. Explanation of the Name
An-Nāfiʿ (ٱلنَّافِعُ) comes from the root
ن-ف-ع (N-F-ʿ), meaning “to benefit,” “to grant good,” and “to be useful.” This Name proclaims that Allah is
The Bestower of Benefit, the One Who grants goodness and advantage to His creation.
As The One Who Brings Benefit, He showers blessings, removes harm, and grants what is truly good for body and soul.

An-Nāfiʿ appears in the Qur’an to remind us that every good we enjoy is from Him alone.
“And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him;
and if He intends for you good, then there is no repeller of His bounty.”
