الْمُؤْمِنُ

Al-Muʾmin

1. Explanation of the Name

Al‑Mu’min comes from the root أ‑م‑ن (A‑M‑N), signifying “safety,” “security,” and “faith.” This Name means The Giver of Security — the One who instills true faith in hearts and shields believers from fear.

As The Protector of Faith, He secures our hearts against doubt, safeguards us from unseen harm, and grants peace to those who trust in Him.

2. About This Name

Al‑Mu’min appears in the Qur’an to remind us that ultimate security rests only with Allah.

“He is Allah; there is no deity except Him — the Sovereign, the Pure, the Source of Peace, the Giver of Security (Al‑Mu’min), the Guardian…”

Invoking Al‑Mu’min strengthens our īmān and reassures us that no matter the trials, His protection remains steadfast.
