As-Ṣabūr (ٱلصَّبُورُ) comes from the root

, meaning “to endure,” “to persevere,” and “to show patience.” This Name proclaims that Allah is
The Ever-Patient, whose forbearance encompasses every fault and every weakness in His creation.
As The One Who Bears All with Perfect Patience, He never hastens punishment but grants time for repentance and growth.

As-Ṣabūr appears in the Qur’an to remind us that Allah’s mercy is vast and His patience is unfailing.
